Service Description

Rhythms and Roots: Reflects the combination of historic cities, nature, and local culture. Discover the best of Havana, Viñales, the Bay of Pigs, Cienfuegos, and Trinidad on a trip steeped in history, culture, and nature. Visit iconic cities, caves, and tobacco plantations, and enjoy concerts and local experiences that make Cuba unique. Itinerary: Day 1 – Havana: City tour, vintage car tour of modern Havana, visit to a museum and the Floridita Bar. Dinner and overnight stay in a hostel. Optional first night: concert at the Buena Vista Social Club or visit to the Fábrica de Arte. Day 2 – Viñales / Pinar del Rio: Excursion to the Viñales Valley. Tour of the Indian Cave with a boat ride, visit to the Prehistoric Mural, and a tobacco plantation. Picnic lunch and return to Havana. Day 3 – Bay of Pigs / Matanzas: Visit a crocodile farm in the Ciénaga de Zapata, swim in a cenote, and visit the Cueva de los Peces (Fish Cave). Free afternoon for swimming and dinner at Playa Larga, free night at the hostel. Day 4 – Trinidad / Cienfuegos: Stop in Cienfuegos to visit the historic center, the Terry Theater, and a panoramic drive through Punta Gorda. Continue to Trinidad. Dinner and overnight stay in a hostel. Day 5 – Trinidad / El Cubano Park: City tour in Trinidad, visit a museum, the Manaca Iznaga settlement, a potter's house, and a cocktail-making class. Departure for El Nicho National Park for hiking, a river swim, and a picnic lunch. Return.
